My grandparents on both sides, and all family that's gone. With them went the special days of being young, the lazy days of summer that seemed to go forever : )

My Mother-In-Law, who died of a heart attack 8 years ago. She used to call me up and say, "How you doing darlin?" I cook food for her husband every Wednesday and there's a statue of the Virgin Mary in a little rock garden in his back yard that she put there and planted various flowers that come up on there every summer. My father-in-law and I sit on the deck that my husband built for her just before she died and look over this rock garden often during the summer months. She had 11 children and the house, especially the kitchen, still has her soul in it. I feel her presence every week when I visit my father-in-law. She was an amazing woman and I'm sure she is someone's guardian angel now. smile

My Sweetie, who died on August 3, 2003. We had 17 years of fun together but especially in the summer when he would help me at art fairs. Every weekend we would be set up in another town, and I would sit back and admire how he could talk to everybody who came in my booth and usually end up making a sale. He had such amazing people skills! But I couldn't let him near anything mechanical or disaster ensued. His passing left a huge hole in my heart and my life, and the art fairs have never been the same since.
