No one in Sneakers has children. Oh, right, except Sydney Pointer. But only him. Not Brian, Elizabeth, Carl, Mother or Whistler have children, and no one talks about having them either. And these are people in what look like late 30s. (except Carl - River Phoenix, who is of course quite young).

Oh - good point about Legally Blonde. That movie really is a pleasure in the genre. It's so not what you expect.

Right, Snow White. But my impression is she is only 14 or 15. Not that she can't have kids by now if she wanted them, but that is still awfully young.

In Blade Runner, Harrison Ford's character is tempted to run off with an artificial intelligence woman. I don't imagine he thinks she can bear children - he just wants to be with her, to live with her.

I have always wondered if the reason women in those old faery tales wanted to get married and have babies was because they was horny? I mean women back in the day wasnt suppost to get horny or like sex but they could want marrage and babies and that was fine....you have to have sex to have babies so....did they really want the babies or did they just want to get laid?

Although with Snow white and the 7 dwarfs maybe she had the best of both worlds...... lol

There are no children in the Fred Astair Ginger Rogers movies and it doesnt seem like they are going to run out and have them.
