I remember well the year that " Prop 22" actually passed in California. It actually passed. (!) It was (and is) mind boggling to me that we could have a law enforcing discrimination. I hope the craziness ends soon.

I am hoping someone with a brain decides that this needs to be corrected. The legislature has passed a marriage equality bill 2 years in a row to be vetoed by the gubinator who said it was the will of the people that should be followed. Um who voted to put those people in the legislature... aliens?

Maybe we've been invaded and conquered by an alien race calling themselves "the people." I must have missed that. I'll have to Google it.

Human Rights Campaign;
Were proud of Shannon Minter of the National center for Lesbian Rights who argued this case, and all the Advocates who worked tirelessly to make this day possible.
More than anything were proud of all of HRC's supporters who rather than backing down in response to bigotry and hate, have continued this fight;
Our right- wing opponents are using this moment to build a $10million war chest for an amendment this November to ban same sex marriage in California.

If they manage to succeed with that in California, long known as a liberal bastion amongst the rest of the country, what hope do we in Texas have....

Here is to hoping common sense prevails.

I think it will fail. I have faith people will stand up and say NO!
