As of now I've reviewed five Joan of Arc movies, enough, I think, to give Joan her own category.

Does anyone have a favorite Joan of Arc movie?

I forgot about that one. I like the Milla Jovovich version - The Messenger. I actually loved the television series, Joan of Arcadia.

Cory,
I'm not sure I've seen the Legend of Billie Jean. How is it a Joan of Arc movie?

Moe,
I'd be interested to know why you like the Milla Jovovich Joan. I haven't uploaded a review of this one yet, but if you have the time or interest, here's a link to an article I wrote on it:

I love The Passion of Joan of Arc, Carl Theodore Dreyer's 1928 classic. After I caught only half of it on TCM one night while they were doing a month of Dreyer movies, my husband bought me a copy of the one that they had shown that featured Richard Einhorn's Voices of Light opera that he wrote for the film. (He also got me Dreyer's Vampyr, LOL).

It was just so dark and beautiful. It really struck a chord. Unfortunately I haven't been able to see any other movies on Joan of Arc and have been wanting too, especially some of the more recent versions that have come out.

The Dreyer film is definitely one of my favorites. The Einhorn oratorio is sublime. I'm a fan of the Anonymous Four to begin with. In fact, now that you make me think of it, I'm going to get the CD so I can listen to it without watching the movie.
