BellaOnline Forums Home and Garden Fish Do your Betta fish chirp?

I finally got my son to take some photos but they aren't great. I have a bubble wall on the back of the aquarium and I think it makes the photos look fuzzy. Also...no caves. My son is doing aquarium cleaning duty and doesn't enjoy playing with the rocks like I do!

This is my loach in his tube...if you look to the right you can see my upside down catfish in his favorite spot

Thanks for the photos! They are wonderful! A photographer told me that a good way to photograph fish in a tank is to not use a flash because of the reflection and to backlight the tank instead. Sounds like you have a lot of fun cleaning and fixing up your fishtank with great places for your fish to hide! I love that! Your son is apparently doing a GREAT job keeping your aquarium clean! Hey Mary thanks for asking about my ankle. I am finally walking and getting around. I get tired fast, but I guess after all that laying around that is to be expected. Last week I cleaned the tank for the first time since I broke my ankle and it was nice to be able to do it. I had my son haul the water back and forth and he said that part he didn't mind....it was the scrubbing that he didn't care for!

Sorry about your ankle - that's a pain - literally! Thank goodness for your son! I guess that was a great early Mother's Day gift!
