The Stanley Cup Playoffs started this week and the Colorado Avalanche beat the Minnesota Wild in the first of seven games in the Western Conference Quarter Finals on Wednesday night. They play game two tonight. Here's hoping for another win.
Go Av's!

I am soooo happy the Pens beat the Sens (I hate the Sens! lol). So far, my Flyers are actually winning too. Bonus!

The anticipation is intense! 3 to 3. I thought Flyers would win last night. I'm worried they have to play away tonight.

I love the playoffs. I used to live in CO so I got to watch a lot of hockey during the regular season. Then we moved to WA and since there is no hockey team here, we have to wait until there's a Vancouver game on or for Hockey Night in Canada to see anything. But with the playoff's on national tv I can get all the hockey my heart desires.

The Pens are kickin' and Philly is doing a job on the Canadians (despite idiot Hatcher's attempts to lose the game). My Flyers could ruin my Canadiens' championship prediction!

Friday's game against the Rangers was a nail-biter. I really hate the way Pens fans boo Jagr. Can we win in Madison Square Garden tonight? Go Pens!

What do you think after last night's win? Can the Pens go ALL THE WAY?

I have no question the Pens are capable of going all the way. They are a dynasty in the making and it's possible that that time is already here. With Crosby and Malkin on all cylinders and Fleury stong in goal ... as long as they get some defense, they would be awfully hard to stop.
