I really like the flavor of cinnamon and have been looking for a cinnamon tea without caffeinated tea leaves.

Bob brought me home some Twinings Herbal Revive which is a blend of "Madagascan cinnamon" with cherries. It's purple in color and I just don't like the flavor. It's not really cinnamony, and not really cherry either.

Ingredients are: hibiscus, natural cherry flavour with other natural flavors, orange leaves, apple pieces, rosehips, cinnamon, liquorice root, cherry pieces

I'm finishing off the box, but I suppose my cinnamon quest will have to continue!

LOL well I still have 7 left I think and just have to force myself to drink them, because I'm not fond at all of them. I'd be happy to toss them into an envelope if you'd like smile

Hi Lisa and Heather!
That cinnamon sounds kind of yucky to me, that is one I have not tried, and I do love cinnamon like Lisa!

I've found two cinnamon teas that I really like.

One is by Republic of Tea, it is actually a Chai tea, their Red Chai - but it has a very strong cinnamon taste.

The other is sold by a local tea shop called Teavanna (they are in malls, maybe can find one near you.) But they sold one called "Red Hot" and that is exactly what it smelled and tasted like. It was great in the winter months, especially. And worked really well if you had a cold that needed clearing up!

I like teas with spice - esp chai teas - but most of the cinnamon teas I've tried are disappointing. Sure they smell great, but they seem to lack something. A better smell than a taste, I think.

Lisa that one you have with the hibiscus and rose hips sounds kinda nasty. I won't drink any teas with those in them. Blech!

[Disclaimer: my opinion. Other peoples' will vary! smile ]
