I'll have to read the article. I want to write one for Daughters on the topic. I was upset one night when I caught Greta on Fox and she was saying to a violent teen and her lawyer that she thought the DA was going too far to try the girl for a crime after assaulting a school bus driver. Greta blamed the girl but thought the DA was better served to treat real crime instead of a teen crime.

Uh, HELLO, these bums grow up. Why do they get a free pass in school?

I remember being in 5th grade and this boy was kicking my little sister and she was on the floor of the bus as he held the backs of two seats and proceeded to kick and kick her. I took the heel of my boot and let him have it good kicking his hand so he would stop. The driver didn't do anything.

The boy's father had the nerve to bring him over to our house to complain about what I did to him. LOL, that takes you know whats for sure. Okay, your abusive little punk boy was beating up a little girl and your complaining because another girl had to set him straight. Do these people have any sense at all?

By the way, do you think the internet is making girls more violent, because that is the claim nowadays? Or do you think we just hear about it more?

Here is my opinion, I honestly believe it has a tremendous amount to do with Parents not "Parenting" period and by that I mean alot of parents NEVER say NO and they are not really willing to put in the time it takes to actually parent. I am wondering why these girls were alone, where was a PARENT ??? I have boys and I am by no means parent of the year but one thing I learned when they were young was check on them often and in my little opinion only an idiot leaves anyone under 18 unattended. I think people leave the kids alone way too much and that is part of the problem.

In response to Violette, I grew up in a small town and things really never escalated like this. BUT - back in the 1970's - there were a lot more stay at home mothers out there.

Our town was so small that if you did something wrong, by the time you got home from school, your mom was just hanging up the phone from hearing about it.

Now - like they said in the article - it seemed to be a copycat from the incident in Florida. It very well could be that the more these people see it, the more it happens. I think it is their way of crying out for attention or help.

I also agree with the Crochet Queen - people just do not want to parent any more.

If you don't want to take time with kids - do not have them. They do not stay cute little babies forever.

I've noticed something. The authorities, both school and police, are really washing their hands clean of the incident, aren't they?
