I just posted a new article on The Latin Dances of Ballroom. The article explains the difference between the International Latin and American Rhythm dances. It includes the following dances:

Bolero
Cha Cha Cha
Mambo
Rumba
Paso Doble
Samba

Bolero is the only one of these dances NOT taught and performed on Dancing With The Stars. Which ones capture your eye the most? Do you prefer the slow sultry rumba or the fast rhythmic samba? Or do they all appeal to different sides of your personality?

My favorite to watch on Dancing with the Stars is the samba. It looks so fun, I wish I could do that. I'm not really a fan of the paso doble. I haven't seen very many good performances of that dance on the show.
