I am looking for pattern ideas for seniors that are in nursing homes. I have made a card holder board, a walker "purse", a bib that looks like a vest. Does anyone else have any ideas? and where to find pattern?

I am doing the same thing too! One other idea is to make oversized bibs from terry cloth. You can email me if you want and perhaps we can bounce ideas off of each other.

hi everyone, i have just made 10 tabard style over the head apron for a local nursing home here. I put a big pocket with a flap of cloth on the inside with an open ended zipper on, a pocket flap with a buttonhole in and a button, a strip of fabric with a velco fastener, a popper fastener and some lenghts of cord to fasten bows with. They have been a huge success as they fiddle with the different fastening as they are sitting, keeping their fingers supple and they are then able to do a little more for themselves.
