As a former resident, I do not recommend Circus Circus. To be honest Vegas is NOT for children, no matter what you see on T.V. and it really does depend on what your family likes to do. Your family may enjoy walking down the strip or visiting various casino/hotels which can be interesting and fun but again I can't stress it enough Vegas is not a six flags kinda place.

Vegas does have some nice attractions that they try to make family oriented, but I have to agree that it is not a place for children. One look at the billboards, which are all over the strip, will tell you that.

Agreed --- even if they do have some family-themed sights, it'll put quite a dent to your wallet!

Our family took a trip to Vegas. We also have family that lives there, so it was another reason we went. I agree with many that the strip on Vegas is not for kids. We mainly did activities off the strip, stayed at the Cancun Resort (off the strip). There are tons of activities off of the strip that are family oriented (just like any other major city) that we couldn't do at home. The only thing we did on the strip was take the kids to the Tournament of Kings dinner show at the Excalibur. (Our kids are older, it could be scary for little ones) They loved it!
You must do alot of research before you go. Vegas websites and Tripadvisor are good places to start.
