Hello, I just joined today and I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have two American Hairless Terriers (AHTs, they're part of the Rat Terrier breed), they're both boys named Jack and Kane. I want to get two girls to add to my family, but can't find any names that I really, really like. I started out by naming Jack after Jack Frost and Kane after Candy Canes (you know the Christmas theme), but I'm having a hard time coming up with two girl names that will go with the theme and either begin with A and B or I and L. I like the I and L more because then it'll be I, J, K, and L. Or even L and M. I would like to keep it four letters and I'm looking for something that could be an everyday name as well, just like Jack and Kane are. My family tells me I'm to picky, but I think it sounds better to have them all match (maybe I am picky). I hope I didn't confuse anyone. To try and recap all the information above: I'm looking for two girl names,
that go with the Christmasy theme,
can be an everyday name,
is four letters long, and
begins with A and B, I and L, or L and M (one name for each letter).
If you think I'm being to picky, please feel free to tell me. If you have any other names that'll go well with Jack and Kane (besides Jill for Jack, it sounds to kiddish to me), let me know. Thanks for your time!! AHTMom

How about Holly and Ivy from the Christmas song? There you go... H, I, J, K.

The only other two I can think of now are Hope and Joy?

P.S.

welcome to Bella

This is a tricky one. I've been trying to brainstorm for ideas, but I haven't come up with any yet. I'll keep trying though...

I've seen Ivy before, but I don't thik of Christmas when I hear Ivy. I've thought of, but Holly would/could you pronounce it the same if it's spelt like Holi? It's very tricky and I start thinking about giving up on it and trying to come up with other ways for the names to match and I keep going right back to this big confusing mess. I guess I just like confusing things. smile Thank you for your help!!

Holi is actually a Hindu festival, festival of colors.

The Holly and the Ivy was a famous carol, and the most common way to decorate churches for Christmas as far back as the 15th century. Lani (Hawaiin for Heaven) and Meri (for Mary).

Here is a link of L names, I'm sure you can see the M's too.
