Where you do you get yarn? the one store we have in town has stoped ordering yarn and the Walmart around the area have when up on the $$ and cut there stock in half and it is mostly the fancy yarns that are about $5 a roll and you need four for a granny sqaure!

So that leaves me with online... Is there any place online that has a good stock of regular yarn that is not so expencive?

Try JoAnn Fabrics. I believe they have a website. I buy most of my craft supplies from JoAnn's or Michaels Arts and Crafts. I used to love to go to the unique little yarn shops in some of the small towns I lived in, but I don't think there are many shops like that left.

Ebay is always worth a look - sometimes some quite interesting yarns crop up - you never know what you will find!!

the oly thing about ebay is the shipping and handling and the nickle and dime charges... by the time you buy something from ebay you could have paid half that at a store! not all the time but most of the time. I hate to by a ball of yarn for 99 cents and have to pay $3 for S&H and a charge for paypal and whatever ebay charges.... when I could go to hobby lobby and get the same stuff for $2.... frown all though with gas so high and hobby lobby so far it may even out!
