To fart ... is a slang word to say to pass gas ... when a troll comes in here, I just pretend that I've heard a fart. That's basically all they are to me, just a fart on the wind ...
When it's a really loud, obnoxious fart, it goes FART!

I know this thread is really old, but I wanted to update everyone on the house. It sold, and it looks like a couple with a teenager will be moving in. I've seen them almost every day for the past few weeks, and they haven't brought any small children with them (although I suppose it is still a possibility). They've been putting in tons of hours to fix it up, but I doubt they'll move in before summer. Here's to hoping they'll be nice and quiet. Thanks to everyone for your previous comments. Hooray!

Well, somewhat nice. They painted the house PEACH yesterday! Practically neon peach. At least I'll be able to say that I live across the street from the peach house instead of the house in disrepair.
DH keeps saying that maybe it's just the primer coat. I don't care - they can paint it plaid with polka-dots as long as they don't have children swarming all over my yard and they're quiet.

Yuck, I'm sorry. I would have a really hard time looking at a peach house on a regular basis. Hopefully your DH is right and they will end up painting it a nice terra-cotta colour.
But, I agree, it's a heck of a lot better than having noisy neighbours living in a run-down house.
