My former signature line on this forum: I'd rather hear the pitter patter of little paws, thank you!

Bingo: But wouldn't it be fun to dress up a little one for photos, the first day of school, etc.?

Oh but it is so much nicer to sleep in til noon and not have to taxi kids from school to school function to another activity. I save so much time and money collection pictures of my neices and nephews.... oh and I can take them shopping when I want to so... this is just a pointless topic isnt it?

bingo:

this one from my nephew as a joke i think but...

but I dont want to be the youngest grandchild your the only one left young enough to have a baby!
(this was actualy ment as a dive on his mom who put him up to bingoing me... but I was laughing so hard at the look on his moms face that I could not think of a comeback! laugh )

Followed immediately by "SHUT UP!!!"

The two lines combined are a very CF response. I knew I loved Mal for a reason! lol

"bingo:

But if I had a boaby then you'd lose your special position as "youngest grandchild" and all the attention that goes with it. You'd just be overlooked because everyone would be ohing and ahing over and ugly squalling baby. I bet you wouldn't like that one bit, now would you?

Bingo: It's just impossible to really enjoy life without children.

And I just can't see why you WANTED them.

Bingo:

Why don't you just grow up and accept the life society expects of you? Why do you insist on being different in everything you do?

I will always live a life that is true to myself, and if that means I don't do what's expected of me by society, then so be it. It also has nothing to do with "insisting on being different" or "proving something" if perhaps that's how you see it. Be grateful for people who don't follow the "rulebook" because they are the ones who make the world more colourful. I don't feel the need to have my own children.

Bingo: Hmmmmm, I wonder who'll be pregnant next (looking meaningfully at you)...

Well, it won't be me. Early menopause and endometriosis saw to that. Guess I'll have to buy somebody else yet another baby present.

Bingo: How could anyone not want children?
