I have some Bernat "max" yarn that I would like to knit an afghan from. But because of the way the strands vary in thickness, I'm not sure what kind of a pattern I should use. I looked at their site and don't see anything; in fact, it looks like they don't make the Max yarn anymore. I'm guessing it should be something using large needles; I'm guessing I wouldn't want a too closely knit design. I'm also wondering if I should consider knitting another strand of fingering or worsted weight along with it if I do use large needles for a rather open work pattern. Is there anyone familiar with this yarn that can give me an idea of a pattern to use? And of course, where I can find the pattern? This yarn is beautiful and just begging to be used!
Thanks!
Robin
