A mermaid would be my first choice. I'd love to experience a well-loved house cat's life...eat, sleep, get scratched under the chin over and over again.:)

I spoiled cat or dog. Or even one of my pampered fish.

I also think being a lion could be interesting - or jaguar or cougar - imagine being able to run that fast!

An Eagle, definitely Eagle. I just changed my avatar to an eagle on a drum.

Oh I would be a stone at stone hedge so I could know all about the wonders of stone hedge! or a stone in a creekbed just because it would be peaceful!,
a Ceder wood tree in the mountians because I would smell great and look good while I have a glorious veiw of the mountians and valleys with out haveing to pay my way in! lol or a Segoro Catus in Segoro vally AZ so I can be rare and protected and loved and no one comes near me!
or An Owl so I can see at night and sleep all day!, A pretty poodle of a rich lady so I can be pampered! a Dolphin so I can swim all day! or a bear so I could sleep all winter!

how is that for a good start? LOL

All those animals sound wonderful to me! I would love to fly. I used to dream about that often, but haven't for a long time. I would love to live in the ocean as a mermaid or dolphin. Being able to run fast like a jaguar or cougar would be awesome too! It would be a tough choice!

My daughter went through a phase when she was reading vampire books and she wished that she could be a vampire. I have to admit when I was a kid, I used to think about that too. I always loved Barnabas Collins. I love the sunshine too much though!

Ever since I was a little kid, I used to want to either own or become a black panther.

They are so sleek, powerful, and gorgeous!

Deena, I think the Anne Rice vampire books really glamorized vampires. It sounds like a fabulous, romantic, life.

I'd really like to be a house cat. I'd give quite a bit to sit curled up in a patch of sunlight, snoozing the day away. 8o)
