I just posted an article about the Selkie - which can change it's shape from a seal to a human. And I started thinking... "what would I be if I could shapeshift into any animal, veggie or mineral???"

I think I may like to try a few different things?

I'd like to soar like an eagle.

I'd like to experience the patience of the Red Wood Tree.

I'd like to feel the water like a dolphin.

How about you??

I would really like to see what it would be like to be a mermaid. Part human and part living under the sea....sounds perfect to me.

For me I've always been partial to the wolf and the owl both of which I dream about often.

For me, I would have to say an Eagle.

I remember when I first saw "The Little Mermaid" and I thought about how cool it would be to be a mermaid. Of course, I'd have to have a gorgeous castle under the sea, too, or what's the point? HA HA HA

I think it must mean something very magical if you are dreaming about the wolf and owl fairly often.

I remember having a dream a few years ago about talking to an owl. Later that afternoon, my son found an owl feather and says "here mom, this is for you." I was stunned!

I too have always wanted to fly high in the sky as an eagle or a hawk.

I would either be a hawk or an orca.

I think being an eagle or a hawk would be very interesting! And I think being an orca would be a very interesting experience. An orca could roam about the oceans, fairly safely, and see everything there is too see.

I asked my kids about this... they'd prefer to shapeshift into a transformer (Optimus Prime) or a flying horse!

Those don't sound too bad either!
