This colorful book relates subtraction to the real life happenings of operating a pet store full of your children's favorite pets. I used this book in a tutoring session with a 2nd grader. We read this book togehter which helped us to form a closer teacher/student bond and to convey the basic concepts of subtraction. We both gave it "thumbs up."
