Thanks Chloe. this is the second time i have had to baby this area of my body after a move. You'd think i'd have learned the first time. smile it took months to heal it before - i just have to remember to go super slow on the treadmill - under 1 mph, and to only do easy hikes.

That's great about the bike and the crunches! Lisa is right, if it's front of a good tv show the time flies by.

Yes in fact you can end up biking for "too long" if you're doing something that is too much fun smile Which I suppose is a bad problem to have!!

Saturday I did my 70 minutes of "strength yoga" which was rather hard, but fun. I actually feel like I have a "taller spine" today!! I don't know how to explain it, it feels very nice. Very loose and strong. I also did some twisting, and we did some walking around in stores.

Rosie that is cool. Just think of all the phone calls we could get caught up to if we did them while walking on the treadmill, using an easy setting on the bike, or even strolling around outside.

Rosie - that is great news!! Not that you have a sore butt but that it made time fly by smile

They sell really cheap headsets for phones, so that you can have the headset on your head and talk while you do other activities. Maybe arrange with your granddaughter that you'll talk with her while you bike, and you can use the headset so your arms don't get tired!

OK today I hadn't exercised at all - but then we watched the Biggest Loser so I got up on the bike. I'm doing 30 minutes now at level 6, on random courses that appeal to me at the moment (hills, ride in the park etc). It actually seems too easy to me now.

Bob thinks I should increase the level, but stay at the same length. He also thinks I should do a 15 minute "ride" then a 15 minute "strength training" which I find boring. So we'll see ...

It was a half hour on the bike today at level 6 but on a harder session, so I definitely felt that. Plus some twisting time smile We took the bike apart to try to fix the hand-grip heart monitor, but no luck.

Today we walked around a lot of mall stores getting my new UPS and DVDs for backups and so on. I got a new wheel rolly thing which I played with for about 10 minutes once home. I twisted some, and I just finished 30 minutes on the bike. I was reading Wil Wheaton's blog again and rode over 30 minutes, it is just so much fun to read that I lose track of time smile
