To tell the truth, I started out to write a negative review of the film, but the more I thought about it, the more I saw in it. It is a remarkable movie.

This is next on my reading list; I just read his other book: The Road.

The only one of his books that I've read is All the Pretty Horses. I didn't care for it.
There was a film of it, but I haven't watched it.

His books are so popular I may try to read another one to see if I can tell why people like them.

Another popular writer whose books I cannot get through is Elmore Leonard.

I am not a fan of Leonard's either and I am an avid reader.

Well Peggy, I'll have to go and read your review. My reaction to the movie is.... It's the best movie with the worst ending I have ever seen.

Very nice review. I agree with you except that I don't think I will watch it again. I like happy endings and that was a bit more blood than I care for in a movie.

I have to agree that it's a downer.

I may read the book to see if my reaction to the film has anything to do with the original, or if it's all the Coen genius.
