Hi,

I was at a "Heurigen" tonight. This is a typical austrian "restaurant" were you can drink regional wine and eat typical austrian food like "Schweinsbraten" - roast pork.

Behind me sat a very annoying little girl with a voice that just made me crazy/mad.... wink
A friend of mine looked at me, saying: Isn't she sweet, she could be your daughter. I was just smiling and said: No....never ever *hehe* I'm enjoying the peace and silcence in our house...
She just looked at me...and said after a while...Juli, you're enjoying your life, aren't you? You are really happy, with your life the way it is now?

She has got it..... smile
I'm loving it!!!!!! grin

on a related note i was at babies r us getting shower gifts for two friends and i swear i was getting stressed out and couldn't wait to get out of there. my DH was just smirking at me and said"you could never have kids you were really stressed in there."how true is that! it was so annoying to me just being in there and really it didn't interest me in the least. i mean i really liked buying my friends something for their shower but i wanted to just get in, buy the gifts and get out. they have so much stuff there is ridiculous. do parents really need all that stuff? it just seems that my parents didn't have all that stuff for me when i was little.

that is really cool juliana that your friend realizes that you're happy the way you are!

after being in that store today and seeing how expensive baby stuff is it was yet another reason not to have kids.

@indigo: I really understand you...buying baby stuff is a quite hard job...many children, stressed mums,....endless list!

I was at a baby shower party in summer...it wasn't that bad, because one of the women there is CF too. We talked about a Website were reasons to remain CF are collected - it was funny smile

Good for you, Juliana!

Funny that you got to see her at the moment she finally believed what you'd been telling her all along. DId you see the little wheels turning in her head as she realized it? wink

Is it just that hard for people to really think that you just don't want kids?

It is nice when everyone realizes and "get's it"...you don't have to constantly explain that you just don't want kids.

I am so happy with my choice to be CFBC...I love it!! I am happy today b/c I am not running after fifty kids who are after eggs and whatever else it is that you do today on Easter. I love my extra time, extra money....I am completly satisfied with my life! Gosh, sorry I feel great today! I was leaving my subdivision and just seeing all the people outside with their kids and I am off to do what I want. I guess they are doing what they want??? Don't really know....

Gosh, I sure hope they are!

I'm having Easter fun today too. I'm in charge of dessert, so I'm decorating a cake to look like an Easter Basket. Green cocnut for grass, etc. And I made little goodie bags for each couple with cappucino mix, biscotti & a Lindt choc Easter Bunny. They look so cute. I hope everyone likes them. Easter goodies are for adults too, right? wink

Our teenage nephews get bags full of candy and snacks and our little 2 1/2 yr old niece is getting an actual basket. I found the cutest things to fill it with! Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
