When I was young, pregnant women dressed in regular, large clothes. Nowadays,they have to look sexy & fashionable. There are all these expensive maternity boutiques - it has become a fashion show! All the women at work wore high heels during their late pregnancy!

Sexy is not ok. You are pregnant. The only one who should find you sexy is the person who put that baby in your belly. Sexy and pregnant in the same sentence makes me cringe.

Fashionable is ok. And if you have to work, I uunderstand that, but you don't have to show your body in tight clothes or overexposed (crop tops, low rise) clothes. I mean, I don't want to look like a nerd now, so I wouldn't want to look like one if I was pregnant (gak! perish the thought) but I wouldn't want people being able to see the outline of my huge belly either. SOme people think it's beautiful, some people think it's gross, but I think most people agree it's private. Don't they?

Or maybe I'm just crazily affected by being CF since I was a kid...

One of my cousins wore overall-shorts when she was nine months pregnant - there was no reason for her to wear overalls - it was so strange looking with the pinched up shorts.... a sweatsuit would have been a better choice!

Sexy and pregnant do not go together! You can be sexy at home with your husband but not in public!
