If your choice for the Democratic nomination was not the nominee, would you still vote a Democratic ticket? If not, would you not vote at all, or vote for McCain? If Clinton and Obama ran on the same ticket, would you vote for the unity ticket if your nominee were not at the top? Why would you make these choices?

I would definitely vote Democrat, pretty much regardless. The Republican ticket still stands for conservatism in regards to religion, abortion, money, etc... Though I don't truly consider myself a Democrat, I definitely lean that way because their ideals fit mine better.

As far as Hillary and Barrack go, I think either will do well, so I will have no problem voting this Fall. I am leaning pretty heavily towards Hillary now, but if she ends up not winning that's pretty Ok with me.

I think having a Hillary/Barrack ticket or Barrack/Hillary ticket would be the best thing the Democratic party could do with this election. I think that would be a can't lose team. Plus it would put the VP into a good position to obtain the Presidency later.

I tend to vote libertarian which usually means Republican over Democratic, but I do find myself being drawn to the Hilary/Obama combination and I think I would vote for that if it was offered. I think there could still be enough balances there that we could have them in power and still manage not to go overboard on spending ...

I know it's always a running discussion over which party spends more, and on what projects smile

Amen to that one Lisa. I love it when they (parties) complain about the other spending too much when you look at both and they are both just as bad... big govt v small govt... big spenders v small spenders... pet project/pork v what is needed

I don't like Clinton, but at this point in history, anything is better than Republican. I definitely prefer Obama, and the idea that there would be a Clinton/Obama ticket or an Obama/Clinton ticket is laughable.

Clinton has made it crystal clear that she thinks Obama in inept in every way, shape, and form, and if she chose him as her running mate she'd be admitting that she can't win the presidency on her own.

If he chooses her, he's a masochist.

I think Obama should run with John Edwards.

I vote Republican, but not this time and agree with previous comment about Clinton and Obama. It all depends on the running mate - same with Mc Cain.

I voted for Ross Perot two times.

The first line I quoted made me laugh. It's so true.

The second line is a fabulous idea, and I think it would work well, but rumor has it Edwards doesn't want to be the second man on the ticket again, and he'd rather put his name in the ring for Attorney General. I don't know how true/current that rumor is, but I think he'd do well in either position.

If Barack Obama didn't secure the nomination I would vote for Hilary for sure over Republican.
