Whoever is breastfeeding -- female, male, natural mother or adoptive -- my continued request is that they just don't do it in public.

Aww man, can you picture a female-hormone-ingesting DUDE breastfeeding in public?

*PUKE*

YES. Thank you! Bring a bottle with you for public feedings. I so do not want to look at that. It's private.

I got a report from a flight attendant today (I work for an airline) about a FIRST CLASS passenger who breast fed in front of everyone, then neglected to cover up afterwards. The same person changed her baby's diaper on the seat, even though the flight attendant informed her there were facilities for that in the lavatory! Can you imagine???

Truly disgusting.

Breastfeeding in general disturbs me, but the idea of adoptive moms breastfeeding is icky! And that first class airplane passenger is obviously a sick exhibitionist. Why didn't she just stand up and pee in the aisle???

Yep I think adoptive mums breastfeeding sounds horrible, but if the child needed it, that would be different. (no idea what circs that would be!!)

But in the middle ages until recently, children were also fed by wet nurse which is similar.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHK!!

Omg, that is so disgusting! WHY did the flight attendant not put that to an immediate stop!? I would think the airline would be liable for the unsanitary conditions that causes. WTH makes a parent think that is ok? Do they change diapers on their dining room table at home? Or the kitchen counter? That's just gross...

Changing a kid on a plane without using the facilities (I don't care HOW cramped they are) is just wrong.

It's more sanitary to have an animal on board, letting the fur fly where it may. The animal isn't going to tee-tee or boo-boo because it's too freaked-out scared.

Can you imagine the poor people next to that filth? There's no WAY a person would have changed a diaper sitting next to me.

YUCK...This entire post about breast feeding and diaper changing just ruined my appetite for lunch. Especially the breast feeding bit - I think it's totally disgusting no matter who is doing it! Completely creepy.

I don't want to know how your breast pump works, where diapers are on sale, or another one of my friends' baby picture links.
