Yeah, sad but true. It's a shame that you're not allowed to drag them all the way home by the ear ...

This one had me snorting my coffee through my nose :

Not the homosexuality, but things like "for the first few months, the baby's head would wobble if it wasn't supported" and how he is "plagued by demanding responsibilities and unexpected expenses"... I'd be the sort of parent who'd leave the kid on the bus, so I can identify!!

Is the bus lady serious? Or is that a parody? I'm not familiar with The Onion.

And the dad? What the heck? Is he stupid? Or is this a parody too?

All I can think is, "Thank God I don't have to take public transportation."

Yeah, they are parodies. But there was a father of a 2 year old boy where I worked once who seemed real freaked out when he saw that the son (2 years old!) had chosen to dress up in a piece of material, wrapping it around himself like a skirt. And was asking him, "Um, why are you dressing like that?" and you know the dad seemed pretty effeminate himself!
There's an article on Bin Ladin's mother on the site (a fake one obviously) seriously that is like my BIGGEST mothering nightmare to give birth to the next Bin Ladin I would literally KILL myself if my kid grew up to be like that!

I leave the child-rearing to people who feel called to it. I've never felt that call.
