The
Efile Tax Returns and Service E-file Tax Service and Answers community is holding a contest for the best tax story. The rules and outlines are below; currently there are few entrants, so its really a very good opportunity.
Each Entry must include the Entrant�s original essay of two hundred (200) words or fewer (the �Entry�) describing the Entrant�s most entertaining tax story, which must be based on actual events. The Entry must not have been previously published nor have won a prize in any other contest.
Limit one (1) Entry per person, per household, per e-mail address.
The official (and not so official rules):
WINNER SELECTION/JUDGING CRITERIA: Essays will be judged by an independent judging firm. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Members of Social Media Systems will select the potential Grand Prize Winner from all entrants. The Entry judged to be the most amazing tax story will be chosen as the potential Grand Prize Winner. Entries will be judged in equal value based on: 33.33% = originality, 33.33% = creativity and 33.33% = sincerity. The Grand Prize Winner will be determined on or about Tuesday, April 2nd, 2008 . Decisions of the judges shall be binding, final and unappealable.
