I was wondering what your thoughts are on gays and lesbians adopting children.

Anyone like to share?

What matters most, from my perspective, is that the child goes to a loving home where the parent or parents are adequately prepared (financially, emotionally, and in all other areas) to care and provide for the child. Whether that's a "traditional" family, a single-parent family, a same-sex family, whatever doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

I raised my grandson with my girlfriend, he grew up just fine he had lots of love. we went to the parent teachers meetings together at his school. we traveled on day trips together, she went to all his baseball games cheering him on. she taught him how to play ball. same sex parents that provide for a child both emotionally and financially will raise a great child, We did.

But Jase didn't you know, if we let gay and lesbian parents adopt kids we'll be allowing them to "Convert" those children into their "lifestyle" hehe

If homosexuals can't reproduce, how come there are so many of us. lol

Because we're adopting and converting them remember

i saw this cartoon - about how gay marriage would ruin the marriage and family

it was a series of pictures of diff people expressing there side

the first was a young couple and the guy is saying "she wanted a may wedding, but lesbians had booked the church"

the second was a couple looking distressed "we keeping arguing over which is more disgusting, fag or dyke weddings"

third - an elderly couple looking tired man says "she keeps waking up screaming "we're going to go EXTINCT!"

fourth and final (from my memory) is a picture of a drunken man
"the thought of gays filing joint tax returns, visiting eachother in hospitals, and sharing insurance lead me to drink.
