I agree with you, Lisa. I cannot believe that if she were alive, she would be in hiding this long. AND - she would leave her kids????
Someone out there had to have a suspicion about his 3rd wife to have exhumed her body and re-do an autopsy. One that found there was murderous evidence when the first one did not.
I'd like to know if they are quizzing that first doctor who did the autopsy. Was he a good friend of Drew's? Is that why the cover up? There was too much stuff to miss it seemed to me.
I also agree with gypsy - those kids of his. I wonder if they think he did it? Do they get teased and/or picked on in school?
I suppose because there is no body - they really have no right to take the kids away from him.
Shoot him up with truth serum and make him talk, I say!!
YEA, I'm thinking someone who did as shoddy a job on an autopsy should be examined pretty closely but the reality is that most deaths in this country are not examined by someone who is highly trained enough to detect the sometimes subtle differences in accidental death and homicide.
I watch alot of documentary type things about forensic science because I find it fascinating and they often speak of this very thing. It would surprise me at all if the fact that this was a cops wife made a difference how accepting they were of his version of events.
From the way her family described Stacey and how she was not only with her kids but the children of the previous wife, I don't believe for a minute that she would do off and leave them. The fact he would say something so nasty about her in the media for his children to hear speaks volumes about what kind of man he is. If he cared about his children, he wouldn't want them to hear something like that even if it was true.
Anytime a man starts blaming the victim, thats a real sign that there is MORE to the story.
