Regardless of your religious inclinations, the fact that a woman in this day and age is facing death for sorcery is still unbelievable. A petition has been circulated to petition King Abdullah to grant her a stay, which can be found here.

Wow and I just reviewed The Crucible too (about the Salem witch trials) and said in it that thank goodness those days are over. It's scary to think they are not!!

Do we get any sense that the King will even see the petition? Would it do better to send real letters personally and if so to where?
