I was so happy to hear from him for just a moment Saturday night when he called. I wanted to let you all know that he had arrived safely. It was such a relief to hear his voice even though he had instant messaged me.
Great news Deena! I think it's so wonderful that our girls and boys over there now have the ability to send text messages back home. What a relief to loved ones who may be worried.
It really is such a wonderful thing Deanna. I feel very fortunate that my son is there when such things are possible. I can't imagine hearing nothing from him for months and months, yet so many have had to endure that. Heck, even years and years!

(video games and dogs are his two favorite things! lol) I just sent him the Super Smash Bros. Brawl that just came out. He can't wait to get it! Does your husband play those games too?
