Hope everybody is keeping up with their New Year's resolutions to lose weight. Just think of it as a lifestyle change and not a diet.

By next year, you could be at your desired weight. Last year I resolved to lose 10 lbs and I did it and have kept it off. My eating habits are much better too, which was also my goal.

Have you had any successes?

My new years goal was to loose weight and get down into the 100's. I am currently at 279lbs. I have to loose 129lbs. I just started a diet pill, working out and eating healthier
(Smaller Portions.) So far I lost 12lbs. Before I started I was 291lbs.

KLW - that's great news!! It all comes down to a daily choice, to be healthy each day. Even if you make a mistake one day, the next day is brand new and is time for you to be healthy again.

Finding an exercise style you enjoy is really so key. If you have to force yourself to get onto the bike, it'll be a chore. If you love to dance and find some girlfriends to go dancing with every few days, you'll look forward to it!

Hi, So far my resolutions are still on. I started at 275 lbs the first of January and have lost to 244 lbs so I've managed to get off 31 pounds. I know it will slow down as I get more off but I intend to keep on with the exercise and healthier choices until I reach a "normal" weight. Good luck with everyone's goals this year! You are worth the effort. smile

I didn't make any new year's resolutions as much as I did what our Bellaonline leader suggests, each day is a new day to start out fresh and clean. I like it. I would like to lose some weight for health reasons, not because of how I think I look. I am hoping I will have more energy. So much food, so little time.

Sounds like everybody is doing great this year. That's true.. each day is a new beginning. When I have a bad day trying to make healthy choices then I get up the next day with new determination. So far it's done well for me. I agree about losing for health's sake instead of how we look too. There are some beautiful big women and men out there but for myself I know that my health would benefit to lose weight so my heart doesn't have to work so hard. My goal is to lose 100 pounds this year. We'll see if that's going to happen. I need to have lost about 130 total to get to a goal weight but that's another thing we'll have to see about. It's doable. lol is that a word? doable.. it is now. smile Keep on with the healthy choices everybody!
