could some one please help!

how do you kill that big slug in the zoo!??

i keep trying but he just goes in his shell and regens! and comes out and gives me a good kicking!

Same problem here. First, you give him al you got, then he goes into the shell, regens to his max, and whoops your [censored].

What you can try, is have Wakka in overdrive and use attack reels (12 hits), Tidus in overdrive, blitz ace, and another character who has learned entrust, entrust to Wakka, and use another attack reels. Then unleash the Aeons and you should get far. Note that it hasn't worked for me yet.

BTW, of course I've got damage break for both Wakka and Tidus

Oh, and when he does go into his shell, you can cast reflect on him, so the curaga won't work, but dispel won't help for the regen.

Have you tried Yojimbo?

I don't want to use Yojimbo in the monster arena. I want to beat them with my own strength.

Name: Neslug
HP: 4,000,000 (Overkill: 12,000)
neslus is not immune to silence and will go into his shell when his hp reaches 2,000,000
use physical attacks while out of the shell (make sure you cast silence that'll negate curaga (and regen while its not in its shell)you can use Tidus's blitz ace cos it still does damage then concentrate on using double cast ultima and copycat if you can(hastaga is also a must at beginning of fight)

Damn, this is a memorable day...sorry Alien, but I didn't do it your way.

I started off with some quick hits, then summoned the Magus Sisters. I gave him a certain amount of damage, until I thought it would be enough. Then attack reels, 12 hit, then blitz ace and then I summoned Anima in overdrive and the shell crumbled. From then on Magus Sisters again and he was dead in no-time. Something like that. Neslug never had the chance to get into his shell.

Next challenge: Shinryu

BTW killed him off with Passado, great finish!
You should take his HP down to 2,000,001 or something close, cuz when he reaches 2 million he goes into the shell. then, you have to do a million points of damage in one attack, like I did with Oblivion. If Wakka has a str. of 255, you can do the trick was attack reels too. Don't think that blitz ace is strong enough, but if neslug goes into the shell, it will hit him, although it is a physical attack...
