This is about the butterflies, and Lisa's thoughts on how to help. I just nearly pulled my hair out getting the Saturn Sigil. I have to have made every possible mistake at least 50 times before I got it, so here is my take on the thing. Sometimes the right path looks like you're running right at, or even through a red butterfly. You just have to do it enough times to see where to step. But the problem for me was actually getting the chest with the Sigil. Looking back on it now, I'm sure I solved it 50 times before getting the chest. We talked about it earlier in a post, the main thing is you can't overrun the last butterfly and end up off the map it is on. You just stop dead right after getting it, and either the chest is there or it's back somewhere along the maze. I am willing to bet many people did this exact same thing. If you KNOW you solved the maze and got all 7 butterflies, the chest is somewhere in the same map as the maze. Don't go forward if you know you solved it, turn around and check all the chests all the way back to the beginning. Also, if you get a solve and you see the last chest drop down out of reach, THAT'S NOT THE SIGIL. Ignore that last chest, turn around.......
As far as the Onion Knight goes, I found that FAR easier than the Chocobo. Stand in one place, dodge a bolt. It will sort of knock you backwards. Take 2 steps forward again and stop, the next bolt is usually almost instant. Repeat until the game stops shooting at you right away, then walk a little bit, find another place and repeat. It's not that hard, it's just frustrating when you get hit after 140 in a row. But DO IT. The Onion Knight (and Lulu period) is the most powerful piece in the game, and almost impossible to "make" by bribing. You also need it for Shiva to exceed the 9999 points of damage limit. When you see Lulu cast Ultima and take down two Demonoliths or Defender Z's in one shot for just 2 mana points, you'll thank yourself.
