I have recently made a point to try many of the various chicken flavored products on the market to see which appealed to me most. After tasting and cooking with about 10 different brands I've come to the conclusion that I would probably just avoid them altogether. It isn't that they are repellant, although some are a strange texture, I just (as a chef) didn't like the taste very much. I put it to vegetarians out there: is there a better tasting chicken flavoured product out there or do you just not eat them?

My husband (who isn't a vegetarian but eats a lot of the non-meats "meats" with me) and I like Morningstar Farms Parmesan Ranch Chik Patties.
