I caught all the Mt.Gagazet and fought Catobles ( this battle lasted for aggggeeeessssssss! i mean this guy must of had at least a couple of hundred thousand HP) it wasn't that hard just very time consuming. At the end when i killed him,sry thought id killed him he cast "Ultima" whatever that is,and killed my whole party!I received AP's for the members who I included in the fight but didn't die and also a few handy items, but when i talked to the guy after it he said too bad you lost and just burst my hugly inflated ego! <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
I wouldn't normally bug but i haven't seen any questions like this before, and also should i keep the 62 three stars i received for anything special?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Cheers,Marty

30 3stars will add what I consider the best customization OF ALL. use it on a weapon and it give you 1mp cost for any spell or technique that requires MP.

Yuna's Nirvana has this feature, and it is fairly easy to get. so don't waste it on one of her weapons.

However Lulu's celestial weapon is HARD to get. there is no way I will ever by dodging 200 lightening bolts in the thunder plains anytime soon. so I customized one of her weapons with it. I also gave it +20% Magic and something else cool... darn... what was it... it cost me 20 mega elixers...

also, if you use 3stars in battle (with Rikku's use ability) it gives everyone in battle at that moment 0 mp costs. I'd save that for tough battles.

I also think they can be used for Aeon abilities. I think it is reflect but don't quote me on that.

from what i understand u cant dodge and then save. u have to dodge 200 in a row and if u get hit or if u save it will return to 0 (so there u go)

yeah Marty... you can't save inbetween. Or so it says in the walkthrough.

If it actually works for you, let me know. well... here is a way to find out. go outside the inn in the thunder plains and there is a treasure chest. open it. it should reward you if you hace dodged lightning a significant amount.
5 dogdges gets you something, then 10, and 20, and 50, 100, 150 and 200 (the venus sigil). if you are at 100, you should get something from it and it will say it is for dodging 100 bolts in row. Good luck.

Oh, the other feature I equiped was double AP.

Well it allows me to save and if i mess up,start again.

Yeah for 100 i got a few hp spheres (hardly seems worth it for the time spent).

Triple AP weapons are always given when you beat "one-eye" (the species boss when you collect 4 of every eye)

I dodged 190...I thought I was going to make it, and then...one nanosecond...eyes...blink...bolt....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I'll do it my second time around. Not in this savegame anymore.

this really wasn't that hard for me, the first time i got 93, then 145, then 206. It's just a case of repetition. Stay in the same spot and when you dodge a bolt, go back to the spot. You kinda get into a rhythm, and (i know it sounds funny) I ended up kind of making a dance for it so i could predict when the bolts came (they are pretty much at regular intervals)

Doesn't sound funny; it's exactly what I did. But when I got to +/- 150, my eyes got very tired, and I lost concentration. Then 190, I thought that I was almost there, and that was my mistake...grrr
