I don't know if ya have it already, but once you get the airship, go back to Besaid and defeat Dark Valefor. Then go into town, and talk to the gril with the dog in front of the temple(left). She'll give it to you

You don't need to defeat the dark aeon - I have the US version and I simply went back to Besaid and grabbed it <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> In fact one of the photos in the contest is of you standing next to the dog <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Also how do we *know* that only Valefor is the only one? Just because nobody's found it yet? There are lots of secrets in games that only get found months and months after the release ...
