Today I was driving down a street and saw a woman on the sidewalk with an aggrevated expression aimed at a parking meter. I guess it didn't accept her quarter. I had the instant urge to hand her a quarter and keep driving. I didn't have the chance to do it, because the traffic was pulling me along.

But this is when I decided my New Year's Resolution. Random Acts of Kindness. What fun it would have been to hand someone a quarter and make them happy so easily! I'm going to try to fit some RAK into my life. Have you done any RAK lately?

I agree, I believe in Karma and I try to help whenever I can. I was recently put into a bad position and forced to sell a collection that was prized. I found many nice people on ebay that bought items just to help me out. I believe that people are mostly good and I think it is a GREAT new years resolution to practice random acts of kindness.

We have had a rash of sickness at work. I went out and bought the clean sheets scent of Lysol. Getting to work early, I've been spraying every office in the place.

You are right - I need to work on it more.......You know that Starbucks that has had people pay for the next person, etc....I ought to try that here and see if it could get going. I go right by (well, ok - I stop..) a Dunkin' Donuts....I ought to try it there....

That would be so cool if it caught on....
