I am no soap expert but I love playing around making it. Just the other day I made my first batch of handmilled soap.
I took two bars of Irish Spring soap and cut it all up. Melted in on my stove and added a bunch of stuff (goat milk, WILD strawberries, honey, 2 leaves from my aloe plant, olive oil, and some other stuff..) It turned out to be the best soap I have ever made for my skin (I can't use Irish Springs as it is because it drys my skin but this stuff I used on my face and it feels wonderful.)
Anyway, I love to share things when they turn out (heck, even when they don't so people can see what not to do..lol..) I posted pictures and more about it on my blog if anyone would like to see it.
Do a lot of you make handmilled soap on here? I just love doing it and I am sure to do it again. This time I will add some powdered benzion so I can keep it longer. This really is the best soap I have tryed for my own skin. I love it.
