I know that many of us have been "bingo-ed" in the usual places: baby showers, weddings, holidays, when someone brings a baby into work, etc. But, have any of you been bingo-ed at an inappropriate time?
For example, I have been asked while attending a funeral if I am going to have children. (!!!) I was also most recently asked while on vacation, shopping in a store for a Christmas ornament with a relative "So, when is it going to happen?" I said "When is what going to happen?" And my relative said "You know, a baby. Time is tickin!". Talk about coming out of left field! All I wanted to do was browse and be left alone, not be questioned about childbearing while vacationing in Florida. BTW, my response was "Umm, it is never going to happen. That's when".
I would never ask someone this question and I would certainly not do it at a funeral or while shopping on vacation. Have any of you had anything like this happen? I'm SURE there must be a few good stories out there!
