Hello everybody, I am addicted to this site. I am so glad I found it.
Does anyone watch Good Morning America? They had this story where there was a child that acted up in school and his mother punished him by making him hold a sign at a busy street. What I heard is that he back talked his teacher or did something to disrespect her. All I have to say is GO MAMA!!!!
How many people today would go to that level to teach their child? I mean that woman meant business and they had a video shot of the kid holding the sign and he was upset and crying. The mom was standing on the same street the whole time watching him and making sure he did it. In my opinion I think we need more moms like her in this world to teach kids to become good, respecting adults. Plus moms that don't put up with [censored] from kids!!! They had the kid on the news this morning, and he was well behaved. Hopefully he learned not to be mean to teachers...they work hard!!! Give them some respect!!!
What do you guys think?

More moms like that and maybe I could save some cash and could eat at normal places instead of having to spend a some fortune on lunch & dinner places to try and avoid the families.....

that mom deserves a medal and should teaching parenting classes! one reason i got out of teaching is b/c of the lack of respect some students(and parents) showed me .it was like the kids didn't feel like they had to respect or listen to me b/c their parents didnt' think it was imp. or necessary for them to do so.

i give a lot of credit to those parents who teach their children to respect other people esp. adults.

right now i'm tutoring a child one day a week in their home. She makes sure that is respectful to me and i can tell she doesn't take any BS.He is very nice and listens well to me. she is a single parent on top of that and i know that can't be easy.

i say kudos to her and all parents who raise their kids this way b/c unfortunately many parents in my opinion don't.it's like they're afraid of saying no to them or GASP discipline them.
