Hello everyone. I know us CF folk have alternate fur babies that take up all of our time. We love them bunches and would never give them up.

I have a housefull. Ok there is the cat (Delta) the yorkie (Boone), the tank of fish, the hamster (Pepper) the husband (Jason) wait he's not a fur baby. smile

I love all of my fur babies, but I will say, i have never had a dog before and you can't even compare them to cats. He is the light of my life. Boone is a mama's boy!!! Funny thing is, I got him for my husband last Valentines Day.

Yay! I love furbabies--we have two siamese cats and a great dane smile Our cats names are Charlie and Nina, although we usually call them Monkey and Doodles, ha ha. Our dane's name is Tallie--short for Talisker (our favorite scotch!)

Happy upcoming Birthday/Anniversary to Boone!

I love my furbaby =) I have a sweet little solid black Pekingese and I love him SO much! Me and DH love to play w/ him - he is spoiled and has tons of toys =) He is very attached to us (he loves to follow us everywhere we go in the house).

KinderFrei- Boone says thank you for the anniversary wishes. Whew...he has made it a whole year.
It is amazing to me how the furbabies love us unconditionally. I don't care how old I get, that will forever inspire me.
I hear great danes are great dogs; my co-worker has one and she has said it has been one of the best dogs she has ever had.

Yes! Great Danes are fantastic companions. Some people get intimidated by her size, but she's just a big goofball and loves people.

I have never been around a great dane, I want to meet my co-workers dog someday soon.

Hey guys....Boone just did the funniest thing. Sometimes I will get out his favorite treat to get him in his crate. He runs in every time. Well i brought out his fav treat just b/c he is being so good today. He looked at me all confused and started walking toward his crate!! Funny boy.

I was always a dog person - always! I moved in with my aunt and she has a part Abyssinian cat named Todd. He is a dog-cat!

When her car turns the corner and starts to come in the driveway, he runs to the door and starts meowing this sound that is not human, but not really animal, either.

He and I can be playing with some toy, but the minute she walks in, he stops and goes right to her. I no longer exist. He knows who his Mom is, and I never thought I would see such loyalty in a cat.

Todd has inspired me to look at a cat as a pet when I move.

ps....For 12 years, I was a Sheltie mom.......Shelties rule!

Awww. That's such a cute cat story.

We call our cat a cat-dog too! I was a dog person completely before adopting her, but she's so doglike in all good ways that I'm now a cat-dog person. : )

We have Randall, who is an American Staffordshire Terrier/Golden Retriever mix (we think) whom we got three days after our wedding. He is four. (Some people wait until marriage to have kids, I had to wait for a dog!) And then there is Pippin, whom we got last year. He is a rat terrier, and he is about 1 1/2.

Then, of course, are the gliders, Hamlet and Rafiki (see avatar.) They are 9 and 10, respectively.

And my husband.

So I have five children! Ha!
