Greetings, all - I'm new, but I've been reading the forum for some time now. I am a guy, married, and no youngsters. Neither my wife nor I ever wanted children, so we just simply didn't have any. I always encourage my wife to think for herself and she does a good job of it.
Explanation of my "handle" here on the board - I am moderately interested in reading about gangsters from the Prohibition Era, and since I am a bit rotund, someone once told me I ought to be "Louie The Lump." So, I gave it a "wise guy" twist and got "LouieDaLump."
In my earlier years, there was a lot of pressure on me to "get busy and start having children." Well, since I didn't want any, and since it was MY decision, not "theirs," I just ignored them. I guess I've always been a rebel of sorts.
I don't know how much posting I'll be doing, but the item about the lady leaving the Catholic church due to its stance on CF just moved me.
