I have seen these Soap Scrolls and they are beautiful. Does anyone know how they cut the soap to make it rollup? I would really like to make these.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

It's a tool for slicing soap. Let me see if I can find a link to one.

Well I can't find what I'm looking for but it looks sort of like a big vegetable peeler. I'll keep looking and if I find it I'll come back and post it.

Thanks Jeannie and Cheryl for your replies. I have the small slicer however, I was looking for the ones that make the 6 to 9 inch scrolls.
I am looking into having someone make one for me.
Thanks again.

I thought they poured the soap thinly onto a cookie sheet and then when it was firm enough, it was rolled and then cut to size.

I have used a large meat slicer to get the large scrolls. You know the kind they use in delis to cut cold cuts.

Other than that, the cheese slicer is the next best thing.

I saw it done by pouring a very thin layer of melt & pour into a plastic container, and Before it set up and was still pliable they started rolling soap into a scroll.

I just looked at some soap scrolls and they do look like thinly poured soap that has been cut & rolled... I think that would be a bit easier than using a tool to cut the soap plus less waste smile
