As you all know, this particular forum seems to attract people who want to undermine our conversation and generally abuse us. I for one feel like I don't need to tolerate this behavior.

I'm here to talk to like-minded people who share my unique perspective. I'm not here to have the same stale argument with someone who refuses to try to understand what I'm saying and keep pummeling me with abuse. Nothing constructive comes to arguing with a troll, and there are enough a$$hats in my life as it is.

So, I noticed that if you click on a person's name and go into their profile, there's an option there called 'ignore user.' You'll be able to see that the user is posting, but a little statement will come up and say that you are currently ignoring that user.

I wanted to share this with everyone else because I know that there are a lot of us that just don't see the point on wasting our time with rude, destructive people.

That's awesome! I wish I could do that in real life. That would really send a message to annoying trolls.

Thanks for the info Tress smile Since I came to the board I really felt like this was our safe place to rant/vent about cf issues...where no one will judge us for how we want to live our life. I know that's what we all want from the board!

You left out "correct" in your analysis.

No wonder I didnt enroll here when I was still CF.

Robotrix-
I'm not angry. I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from. You have every right to your opinions, but look at how you word all your posts. You are trying to get a rise out of everyone to prove your point. It really doesn't make any sense.

Does it make you feel good to attack people that that? Does it bring something to YOUR "empty, ashen" life?

You are why CFBC people get frustrated with childfree boards. I don't know why in the world you would come on a CFBC site and post your opinion????? Don't you have your life and don't you think you would be better suited for a site with "LIKE MINDED" people that you could chat with? YOu are looking for a debate!!! I would never go on a mommie board and post my opinion b/c I am a confident woman who doesn't get up and think, what can I do to upset woman who have kids??? Oh, I know I will go on a mommy board and post my reasons why they shouldn't have kids and dismiss their feelings of wanting children. THIS SITE IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! I have friends who have kids and they said they think you seriously have problems to be a mother and troll on a CFBC webiste. My friends respect my opinion and don't care who and what we rant about on "OUR" site! Again, they have lives and love their lives so they don't care what we do on "our" site...Get a life honey!
