hello there im new and i just did a one card reading and the question was if i should finish schooling or find work now i got the king of swords and im not sure what that might mean any help would be greatly apretiated

To me the King of Swords is about impassive judgment, looking at an issue from all sides and making a decision as fairly as possible. It is about making choices for the right reasons and not emotional ones.
So to me this would be saying to make a list of what reasons are involved in staying in school - and what would be involved in quitting school. Make sure both of the lists are as thorough and complete as possible, and really look hard at why you would want to leave school.
My nephew was making this very decision recently and while it was extremely hard financially, he is staying in school. You find in life that once you leave school it is *very* hard to finish it later on, if not impossible. Real life interferes more and more in that task. Having schooling under your belt makes such a huge difference in your long term career choices and income. So if I had to make a coin toss decision I would always say to stay in school if it's at all possible, that the few years of struggle are well worth it in the long run.

I would say, he is telling you to finish school.
