Lorel! We used Joy Hakim's social studies books in the 5th/6th grade classroom I taught in last year. Joy Hakim has a talent for writing comlex content with higher level thinking that middle grade students can relate to.I will pass this website on to my colleagues at school. This series was so good that the teachers pitched in their own money (and donations from parents) to purchase sets. Thanks for the notice! Wendy
