I'm not strong enough to kill things easily and quickly in Omega Ruins yet so I just wanted to know where was the best place to level before that?

cactuar village is a good place, also if you check one of the posts it says something about AP it tells ya about a little trick!!!

Where's cactuar village? Is that somewhere on Bikanel Island?

cactuar village is on bikenel island its the bit which is covered with a sand storm but there's a mini game which allows entry, its also where you find one of the sigils!!!

Yeah i know its on bikanel island but i dont know where the mini game is.

You can only play the mini-game when you have the airship.

It's in the"last"field, the area from where you enter home (but can't anymore cause it went POOF!)
On the east side there's a little area you cannot enter b-cause of the sandstorm.
on the south edge of that area is a cactuar stone that says you have to look for 10 little cactuars.

and how about just training in omega dungeons itself? just stay close to the save sphere and save everytime you defeat a monster!
