This is a nice contrast to the recent clip of Heath Ledger that's been all over TV. The one where he states, about fatherhood, that it's "the ultimate selfless act."
I don't mean to speak ill of the dead. I feel really bad for what happened to him. It's really tragic.
I don't know the whole story, haven't followed it that closely, but apparently some of his Hollywood friends have stated that they weren't surprised he died young b/c he was struggling with alcohol abuse. I know from experience that alcohol or drug abuse is a nightmare for children. He really needs to get over himself. I think people should sort out their own issues before they become parents. The bottle always comes first for alcoholics, and the kids have issues for the rest of their lives.
