Welcome, Fatina! I'm interested to hear about your hobbies (especially those spent in me-time, something I'm currently and constantly revamping in myself) and other interesting things about how you spend your time without having to worry about rugrats!

P.S. I'm interested in all the new-to-CF-room folks we've heard from recently...seems to be quite the influx in the last couple of weeks -- YAY!

Hello, I am new here as well. I am 37yrs. and have two furbabies named Sammie and Jack-Jack. I have just started venturing out and came across this site and another child-free site that I have been posting on. It took me awhile to start to post and very happy that I have. It is so nice to meet other woman who feel the way I do. I live in a very, very child originated community; I am very much the minority. As soon as things improve in the city my husband and I plan to move closer to the city. Since hurricane Katrina things haven't been the best and housing is still not back. Hope to get know many of you!

jzel, do you have the same (or similar) screen name on the other board. you "looked" familiar to me. do you post on ivillage? i feel like i recognize you smile i've posted on a couple others, but this board is my favorite. it has a good sense of community and has lots of activity (unlike the other boards i've found).
nice to "meet" you!

*waves* I guess I'll introduce myself as well. I'm a 34 year old living in Atlanta, Ga. I work two jobs, go to school part time (due to finances, it was put on hold for about 2 semesters). My first job is a desk job where I keep to myself, listen to my music through noise cancellation headphones and do my work. My second job, I work for a national retail drug/convience store as a photo technician. My major in school is chemistry (just recently started going back after finally decidng on what i wanted to do with my life). I'm pretty much an introvert so keeping to myself is not very hard, though I can seem like a chatterbox when it comes to typing, email, discussion boards, text messages, and the like. I love the movies and I REALLY love cars. I like music of all kinds, though I mostly listen to rock/alternative music. I have one furbaby named Twix. She's an american short hair brown tabby and overly affectionate. I share an apartment with my roomie, she has a dog. I am of the female species, in a long-term relationship where we are taking our time (no need to rush). I have had a tubal ligation cause I did not want any kids. I also ended up having an endometrial ablation due to a fibroid that was unusually placed that caused horrific periods to the point of throwing up. uh...that's all i can think of for now. *waves*

Yes, I have been posting there for about two weeks. It is so strange...I go all this time and never think about doing this...and..I starting reading them and now I just love it. I feel like I am part of something. I am still struggling trying to figure out how to get around this website. I had read several things that Kim Kenney has written and I just love all of her writings so I imagine I will like this board.
